Having a home on property with dozens of trees invites shady afternoons on summer days. The downside is when one of those trees requires removal.
In the last three years, we have had to remove six trees, victims of disease, age and extreme weather conditions. In the process, we've hired three different contractors. The first contractor logged two trees at a decent price but left the surrounding area in shambles, with several shrubs requiring pruning or removal. Very little cleanup also was done. The second contractor charged quite a bit more to cut down a giant hemlock and two smaller pines, but was a rude person, as were his workers. Although their work was good and the surrounding damage minimal, they lacked professionalism, making suggestive remarks to a female neighbor and my teenage daughter. The third, as is said, was the charm.
American Tree Service had the most up-to-date equipment, was highly professional, charged a fair price and executed the job perfectly. Given the two earlier debacles, the experience was night and day. The workers were courteous, the task was performed with utmost respect for my property and my neighbors, peace of mind, the cleanup was total, and there was no surrounding damage. Previous contractors literally dropped huge pieces of the sawn tree to my lawn from great heights with deafening thuds; American Tree Service gently lowered the tree segments via a pulley to a soft landing.
I would heartily recommend you consider their services. You will not be disappointed.
Yours,
Russ Banham
